Chapter 2

“Your father?” Kelly finally asked. “I know you don’t talk much about your family, but…”

“Yeah.” Shiobhan sighed and unconsciously twisted a curl of hair around one finger. “This shop has been in my family for generations, on my mother’s side. It’s a longstanding tradition that it’s passed from mother to daughter. In my case, that happened a bit earlier than usual when my mother died.”

Chapter 1

She walked the halls of the hospital, her left hand fingering the vial in her pocket absentmindedly. Riding the elevator up two floors, she made no conversation with the nurses beside her, but made her way to the room she had been told about. Room 315, Glen Chase. Welcome!

I’m going to run a bit of an experiment here on this site. I’ve seen this work for some other writers, so I’m going to try it myself.

There’s a lot more detail available on the Donations page, but the short version is: medical bills are eating me alive and I need help (and quickly). I’m going to post rough-draft chapters of the novel that I’m currently working on, and if you feel entertained, or feel charitable, please donate what you can.

This is the first book of a planned series (of at least 3 books) set in Providence, with a paranormal romantic twist. Each book will feature a different hero and heroine, though they revolve around a core group of characters introduced in the first book. For example, the first book is about Shiobhan, but the second book is about her sister, Sarah.

If you like the story, please spread the word to others that you think might be interested. More viewers means more people who can help out, and more people that I can (hopefully) entertain.
